MSI 1080Ti crashing to x8 mode. how to best way to force it to x8

Hello.
Have this MSI 1080Ti that after heating, crash and works in x8 or freeze after restart card works in x8 mode. Looks like a bad ball under chipon some PCIe line. in x8 mode works normal. reball is not wanted so what is best way to force it to x8 mode without raiser or motherboard with x8 switch or x8 port ?

i desoldered two capacitors on PCIe line 15. Card works ok on x8
