Hi,
I have this iron: https://www.amazon.ca/Weller-WLC100-.../dp/B000AS28UC
What worries me is that the iron plugs into the 3 pronged plug on the station but it doesn't have a ground, just a 2 pronged plug.
To be clear, the station plugs into the wall with a 3 pronged plug. But then the iron plugs into the station itself which has a 3 prongs plug on its side (seen on the last picture on the Amazon listing). The soldering iron that plugs there only has 2 prongs, i.e. no ground.
Is it dangerous to attempt fixing the motherboard by replacing 4 caps on it with that iron?
