    Best programmer for about 600€

    Hi guys,

I currently have ChipMax2 universal programmer. I am looking to buy a better and faster one, but not wanting to spend a lot more money. This one is good for now, but I think I will need something better in near future. I've come a across few eeproms that this programmer wouldn't program (no support, device not on the list).

Some of the programmers I am thinking about buying:

    - Xeltek SuperPro 610P (currently 595$)
    - Elnec SmartProg2 (currently 439€)
    - Elnec BeeProg2 (extremely fast, but overpriced, 999€ currently)
    - Any other suggestion maybe?

What are yours recommendations? Do I stay with the ChipMax2 for now or upgrade?

What sort of devices do you intend to program (e.g. parallel NAND Flash, SPI Flash, I2C EEPROM etc.)?
My first choice in quality Japanese electrolytics is Nippon Chemi-Con, which has been in business since 1931... the quality of electronics is dependent on the quality of the electrolytics.
