    yes, thermocouple and element are both in the tip.
    but that kit is rubbish.

      63.90+7.90 for atten 8586. use if from years and always work fine. just had to replace once the thermocouple for few euros.

      add some extra tips and ur done for every work.

      buy good, buy once.

        but the iron is shit,
        and you can get the hot air unit on it's own - 858D for about 30 on ebay.

          for some years I'm using a Lukey 852D without any problem but with this type of soldering stations the thermocouple is placed directly on the heating element and I almost always use it with the temperature at max.
