The new socket 1366 revival attempt of 2020!

I received the triple-channel DDR3 SDRAM kit, which will bring it to 12 GB with only 3 slots, I hope the RAM-related BSODs are gone!

I swear it was powered up for the first time in 2020!

This is the Asus P6T6 WS Revolution.

So far, when in the BIOS setup utility, I can't find signs of the Asetek liquid AIO cooler failing.

I so far, for power-up, only went to the BIOS and checked it with the 6 GB of RAM.

This time, not once, did I get a motherboard BIOS boot failure, so far. (You know, with the monitor usually going to the dreaded no-signal message.)

just boot up a live session of linux 64 bit or ubuntu 64 bit and run prime95 in blend mode to make sure the new ram sticks are in working order.

tho im not a fan of corsair ram. i prefer kingston, g-skill, mushkin and the now defunct ocz.

If I do get around to OC'ing this one, will it be sort of like BioNTech?
(require very cold air to be stable)

The BIOS booted on the first try with the new RAM in!

My shop box is a P6T /w an i7-920 and 18gb of ram triple channel. But because i've been dealing with more modern systems i've had to switch to win 10 so some software that makes PE bootable drives has full UEFI support

I had to disable VT-d in order to get 10 to install/boot. Weird bug past 10 1803

Do I just disable virtualization tech in the BIOS?

Based on that third pic, it looks like you need to clean your room!

VT-d. It's virtualization for directed I/O. It's a firmware assist for a guest I/O to the local OS. Virtualization itself can be still enabled without it. It does provide an I/O speed boost, in some cases better virtual guest security to the computer, but it usually only matters in cases of multiple guests.

Sometimes geniuses are the messiest people. Though my room is far from clean, it's just cluttered with tons of computer stuff. Not much actual trash

I have a lot of bulb boxes and light dust that really showed on my Galaxy S10+!

Time to dust off a bunch of things again.
