No, I buy laptops from recycling companies, so sometimes they have ownership tags and they show on the boot, hence why I thought if could remove the ownership tag.

I checked hoaca388's file against yours unlocked by me, both are identical, so procedure was probably correct. Check chip pin to pad connection, check for bridges, don't rely on air heat gun, I myself do an extra pass with an iron and add solder as needed.
