Battery drop too fast Nintendo switch lite

    Hello everyone,

I would like to know what causes this, the battery percentage drops too quickly every 10 seconds I lose about 1% per 1%.

The basic problem I had was the connector that powers the daughterboard and I had no back light, after exchanging the console turns on and I have backlight.
The connector is very well soldered

Now it's the battery percentage that's going away too fast.

    Test done :

    Test 3 different batteries
Test with official charger and charge correctly in both directions
No short circuit on battery management chip BQ24193
No short circuit on the main 15 V circuit
Constant voltage of 15 V and amperage also no drop more or less low

Do you think that BQ24193 has a weakness? What else should I check?

I am out of options thank you very much =D

I need to know exactly what type of battery you have before I can give you some what of an answer

But let assume that it is a 18650 battery and it is a li-ion battery

I would do a very simple test using a automotive type of light bulb you will need to know what the amperage of light bulb is at given voltage so you can calculate the amp hours of the battery

If it a nicad type of battery it is the same exact type of test however I would you a flashlight type of light bulb but you would still need the information that I explain earlier

Now if the battery pack has more than one cell one of the battery cells could be weak you would need to test each battery cell not the battery pack for best results

Now it could be the battery management ic chip failure of some type but I would check the batteries first

    I hope this helps you

    Could this be your issue

      Hello,

Thank you very much for all the valuable help and I really appreciate it.

To answer, it is about battery especially nintendo switch Lite and that with 3 same and new.
When disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, the percentage goes back to 100% or indicates random percentages .

After checking the battery management chip which is tiny and looking very closely, there seems to be a tin ball in bad shape.
At the ohm mode measurements nothing abnormal, no short circuit but some values around in kiloohm.

I will change it for the little money it costs =D

      Thanks in any case
