    Re: dell E6410 no power

Which voltage rails on PU19 are missing ?

There are the 2 x LDO low current rails supplied by this Maxim device.

There are 2 x high current switching rails supplied by the same device.

What is the voltage on pin # 4 (ONLDO) of this regulator ?

Also, measure the voltages on the following pins of PU19:

    pin # 5 (RTC) - should be 3v3
    pin # 7 (LDO) - should be 5v0
    pin # 14 (EN_3V_5V) - signal enables / disables the switching regulator (5v)
    pin # 27 (EN_3V_5V) - signal enables / disables the switching regulator (3v3)

all the above is 0 volt
      just pin 6 =19 v

        Re: dell E6410 no power

So the ENABLE pins for the LDO and switching legs of this Maxim regulator are OFF = 0v. This will then result in each of the 4 power rails to be DISABLED.

The ENABLE pins are driven by the EC controller @ U36.

Confirm the RTC_CELL battery voltage on this logic board.

i replaced the rtc battarey and now pin 5 = 2.6 volt
the same rtc battery volt but there is no ldo or en volts

            Re: dell E6410 no power

Confirm that VBAT is present to power U36 (RTC_CELL_VBAT).
