Medion 30919 PO 19 inch TFT LCD

    Rec'd stuck in standby
Suspect bad caps in the PSU

However, despite trying to get the rear cover off the screen,
    this has proved problematic.

It is difficult to see how the rear panel comes off.
There are four self-tap screws at the bottom of the unit.
Even so, the rear plastics do not appear to have plastic
    retaining clips.

I have tried three of four times with this unit.
I do not want to damage it.

Do any forum members have experience with Medion rear panel
    removal?

    Thanks

Replaced all the electrolytics in the power supply
    "The main faulty electrolytics arethe 470uF 25VW x 6, 220uF 25VW x 1,
    100uF 25VW x 2, and 47uF 50VW x 1. All had high ESR.
    Other values replaced 10uF 50VW x 2."

      Thanks for the details.

If I can get the rear panel off, I will be able to replace those caps.
I have tried to get this off without unduly damaging the plastics.

Perhaps, I'm treating it with kids gloves when it requires a
      bit more persuasion.
After removing the screws, what did you use or how did you
      remove the plastic rear cover?

      Thanks again
