Two Hanns-G 19" LCD HW-191D Monitors Repaired

1. First HW-191D Repair

This one's power supply had 8 caps blown.

5 x Elite 470uf 25v
1 x Elite 470uf 10v
2 x Elite 1000uf 10v

And these were replaced by

5 x Rubycon 470uf 25v
1 x Nichicon 470uf 10v
2 x Rubycon 1000uf 10v

2. Second HW-191D Repair

Another same model I repaired. This one only had 4 caps blown.

4 x Elite 470uf 25v

and as well, these were replaced by

4 x Rubycon 470uf 25v

Good repair job, but did you use low-ESR units?
The Elite electrolytics which have not been replaced (except for the 400/450V unit) should also be replaced too, as they can cause a second failure.

I know this is a very old thread, however, it pertains to a repair job I am attempting. I would appreciate it if the OP could identify which of the following positions on the power board that the 470uf 10v cap occupies: c847, c848, or c853.
I am in the middle of attempting this same repair on my own HW191D and I was operating on too little sleep and an empty stomach when I realized that there were only two 1000uf 10v caps supposed to be among these three cap positions on the power board and I had already put in three.
