    If you are testing capacitors, ESR is likely more important that capacitance. I know of no multimeter that can do both. You need a dedicated separate ESR meter. They range in price for $$20 for your cheap ebay one to $200 for the higher end models.

    There has been discussion on the $20 version here and over at eevblog.com.

    Some multimeters can measure capacitance, but the Fluke 8600A has no such function from a quick look at the front panel.
