33uf 25v caps had 0.44R on the esr in circuit. Do I need to remove them and test again. Iv went though my caps and don't have any 33uf to replace them with. Ill get some ordered anyway

You can use 47uF to try, what we are looking for is the start up voltage which you do not have enough for it to run right now.
      You may have bad IC.

Ok I replaced the 2 caps for 47uf 35v and still not starting up.just the green led at the front. I take it 119volt on the 2 bottom heatsinks is normal? Should I order a new ic?

If you still do get the 11V start up voltage then I would try a new IC.
BTW, you did test the rectifier in the secondary to make sure they are not shorted or leaky? Also testing the board by itself with nothing connected for now.

Hi i just been working on one of these now its all back together and working ok since re caping the whole power supply i have a fault all the side buttons work except the menu button also the menu button wont work on the remote either although it does transmit a signal checked with a camera phone so the problem i have is i cant set the colours/brightness etc. I have tried with all sources ie scart/hdmi/pc vga although all these work i still cant acess the menu function does this sound a bad mainboard? i cant find a code to use the remote to do a factory reset? i have just put the tv back together and running a soak test on it to make sure it that no heat related problems show up, so any ideas guys why only the menu function wont work?

That is what I think he is asking.

Do you have a full diagram that shows the values of all of the components? Please help or if someone know at least the values of all the capacitors please tell me, because someone tried to fix this power supply and he replaced the capacitors with different values and i need to restore it. Thanks
