Samsung T-Con board interchange

Hi everybody. I have a compatibility question here. Can you interchange two Samsung T-Con boards using the same PCB but different part numbers? Let me explain.

I have a Samsung UN32F5500AF with a defective T-Con board. The board is obviously bad, with a hole in ICT1 (the center chip, just above the main board connector. It is marked LFT60B (an ASIC). Ideally I would have changed only that chip, but it seems to be a Samsung custom chip that cannot be purchased in low quantity.

I have been unsuccessful finding the exact same T-Con board. The part number is BN96-27250A (BN97-06992A). But an eBay seller near me had for sale another board using the same PCB (BN41-01938B). It is for a 46 inch TV (instead of 32 inch) and is part number BN96-27252A (BN97-06998A).

I changed the jumper resistor (located between the main board connector and the white connector) from 46 to 32 but all I get is a white screen.

Some more components are unpopulated on the original board, and some other are unpopulated on the replacement board.

My question is: Do I have a chance to make the replacement board work by switching the populated/unpopulated components between the two boards? Or the ASIC chips at position ICT1 have different programming? What do you think? Have you already tried that?

I see that one board has QD6 (to the left of connector CON4) installed on the bottom board but not on the top board, the two boards are not stuffed the same.
Shimmy also does not show any sub for the BN97-06992A.

I took higher resolution pictures of the two boards and highlighted the differences, all populated vs unpopulated components on each boards.

Tomorrow I will swap the parts between the two boards. I'll also read the content of ICE1 (marked in blue) on both boards and compare them. They are 24C64WP EEPROMs.

I just hope the LTF60B ASICs at position ICT1 are the same.

As expected, the ICE1 EEPROMs are different. See the attached files. In both images a signature with the 32 and 46 numbers are present at the end, reflecting their panel size.

Switching the EEPROMs and transferring the populated parts from the 32 to the 46 T-Con boards and vice versa didn't make the T-Con board from the 46 inch TV work on the 32 inch TV.

I can come to the conclusion that the ASICs at position ICT1 are also different. Or that my LCD panel also suffered from the current spike that killed and drilled a hole in the original ASIC.
