    A1534 no Sound

Hi Guys, I have a 2017 MacBook A1534 with no sound. The device is not even listed under sound and output. I have reinstalled macOS and have now removed the logicboard, it looks very clean. Nothing stands out. I have checked the schematic and was going to look around U6310 and U6320 however has anyone else seen this and would you mind offering some direction? Thanks guys.

    Re: A1534 no Sound

The audio is created by the CS4280 CODEC which resides on a daughterboard. This CODEC then streams back out the audio channels to the power amplifiers on your logic board.

If the audio function is not being detected, then the RIO board is a suspect and perhaps the cabling & connectors.

Specifically, review the HDA_ labelled connections.
