I have an Evga 1080 for repair.
There was a short on the 12v and a burn hole in the bottom stage of the vcore.
I cleaned it out and the short is gone.
Iv checked all the resistance on the minor rails and there good.
Voltages are.
12v
3.3v
5v
1.8v
Vcore 0v
Vmem 1.3v
Pex 16mv
I thought you need to have vcore or pex before vmem would turn on so it leaves me a bit confused.
Iv looked at the vcore ic NCP81274 and I get
Enable 1.8v low?
Vcc 5v
Vref 2v
Pgood 0v
I did some digging and found that the pgood single from
The NCP81274 is sent to the EN on the pex ic wich needs 2v and it is 0.
I'm at a road block.
If any one here could help me I would greatly appreciate it!
