I check everything and still have problem to start. Blinking 3 amber 6 white light and turn off.
Are you using a clip? Do not rely on it. If not, your backup should always work, try flashing it back. If same symptoms, then check for moved or missing components nearby. Check voltages, start at leg/pad #8 of BIOS chip, should be 1.8v or very close for new laptops. Do not press on bios chip when soldering, it might "squirt" solder to nearby pads if it is too much. I reach the same identical file as hoaca388 when unlocking.

I checked it too, procedure is correct, I reach an identical file. Desolder and verify that the flashing was good? Try your backup, it should work always.

Thanks hoaca388 - tried bios-pw.org and the codes do not work. As this is E7A8, I believe bios-pw.org will not work on the admin password lock
Note that the keyboard to enter the password must be Qwerty US layout (can use an external keyboard via USB 2.0 port). For uppercase letters, use the Capslock key.

I stand corrected Sir... Just tried with an external US keyboard and code worked perfectly. Thank you for your help, much appreciated.
