    Duratool mini solder station

    Is this the smallest soldering station ever? I thought it was a mouse when I spotted it on ebay.co.uk. Anyone tried one?
    And, NO, I am not tempted!

        It's a 10w soldering station... so I can only assume it's a 12v 1A switching power supply in the "mouse", and a suitable heating element in the tip (or could even be a plain resistor).

            OMG that mouse has eat one LED and it is Green LOL

            The amazing thing with the some Chinese, is that they are capable to create stuff with thin air, if this item become a fire-rocket no one cares.

            European Union has taken seriously the inspections regarding every imported electronic devices with in EU, and there is a dedicated web page about giving public warnings too, all the items which does not comply they are removed from the market by law.
            I bet that this seller ships from a ware house in China, or else he would be caught by the EU inspections.

              The Guy on ebay is selling it for £24.95

              Amazingly CPC.Farnell are also selling it but for £16.79

              And those lovely people at Amazon? Only £45.95
