Watches can have bad caps too! 735XT Repair

I had some time today spare, normally we would just board swap to reduce labour time. This Garmim 735 was stuck in a boot loop. Battery shutting down the voltage (bms shutdown) decided something could be short so went hunting.

Found some shorts near the cap I replaced, so put 1v and some IPA this one soon showed up. Replaced the cap and fixed! Just thought I'd share

I figured this had to come at some point. Shorted caps is a watch… I just wish the battery run time would be better. Cool repair!
