hi,i need some info on this part,i beleve it is a capacitor but not sure how to look for a part replacement...or a good place to order,thank you.

given it's location, a box-style .47uf 250v polyester or polypropylene cap will be fine.
no need to pay premium for an axial styleComment

Concur. The DO-4 or DO-5 case rectifiers suggest that the equipment being repaired may be 30 or 40 years old, when that type of case was more commonly used, and wrap-and-fill tubular film caps were more common.
