i keep trying upon trying using rt809H programmer to reflash spi bios mx25l6405@soic16 and get nothing but write failure.

Can anyone help?

remove the bios chip from the motherboard before writing or reading, if you still use the clip, make sure it makes firm contact with the chips ...

hello everyone , wish someone can help me . I got an A1708 2017 MaBook with burned bios chip. i try to read the chip but it is completely gone. I replace the chip with another chip from a faulty liquid damage board after rewrite the serial number. the board is working now but only in safe mode. any help please ? I keep try to read the original chip but no luck.
