Klipsch R-110SW subwoofer pops when starts

I have picked up this sub from a gym, with a broken connection(broken tinsel) between the copper cone and spider.
Replaced that and it is working now, but every time when it starts, it pops.
    It works great otherwise.
What else could be the problem?
When the speaker was blown, maybe some capacitor blew up as well?
If yes, which one could be? Somewhere at the final stage?
    Where should I start looking?
    Any help would be appreciated.

Lot's of repair topics about similar units, but couldn't find schematics or good photos of the board... anyway - is there a relay which separates the amp from the speaker?

by the way, most of the repairs focus on bad caps on the amp board, so I guess you have already checked them?

Hi madam1, no I haven't opened it yet, but I will this weekend, and I will look around.
I just wanted to see, what are the opinions, where should I look first.
I'm wondering since the tinsel wire it was open(when I measured it, it showed open), most likely it should have a blow amp, right?
But the amp works great, and sounds great, no distortion, or nothing like that.
I guess, something must of blown, or partially leaking.
This sub is not that old, to have capacitor issues, at least I don't think so, but who knows. Maybe it was on 24/7 in that gym.

Ok, finally I'm back at this.
I want it fixed and sold. Picked up a SW115 for $20(!) with a broken switch.
Since the speaker was blown, I thinking that something has to be blown, or leaky capacitor/transistor, no?

Where should I start, in the power supply, or amp are?

            Here are some pictures.
With gain all the way to minimum, I'm measuring 3.3mv, which to me sounds normal.
