From your original bios file , i saw :

molel : HP Pavilion dv4 Notebook PC
serial : CND93020P9
Product : NU986UA

and have no bios from HP home page for this serial number.
There are many versions of HP Pavilion dv4, maybe it uses the same bios with another version.

the compressed file is from a clean bios that is without dmi?

I have a notebook DV4 board JAL50 LA-4101P no working, no video in LCD or VGA

I think that trouble is BIOS.
