Just got one of these for my other computer, its a AOC 917Vw, 19" widescreen (1440x900, 3000:1 contrast, 5ms response time,) Glosses up windows xp nicely, seems solid, has a smooth piano finish, good user interface, nice metal buttons that feel solid. Movements are solid, when you tilt the monitor, doesn't wobble, it also has a nice 160* viewing angle. So far, no problems.

I just got a 17" Viewsonic via fea-Bay for <$30 including shipping.
Had flashing green power light syndrome and no image.
Replaced one POS Elite cap on the main power board and if fired right up and works pefectly.
