Default Video Editing That Allows Adding Lines and Objects

Hi Guys,

I'm looking for software that will allow me to put in text, arrows and shapes for tutorial and demonstration. Of all the free video editors I have tried the only ones that have the ability to add lines and shapes are VSDC and Power Director.

I want to put together tutorials and point to things and put in values and the like. I've settled on VSDC. Does anybody in the community have an objection to my decision?
