TCL u55p6006 no backlight

So someone left me a TCL u55p6006 with no backlight.

I can see the image is on with a lamp, and it actually flickers once when switching it off.

I guess it's usual issue of dead leds, so I was wondering how I could check which ones are the faulty ones.
Is there any good tutorial on how to do it? Which led tester should I buy if any?

Replace all the strips with new and turn down the backlight level. All the LEDs have wear and the working ones will likely fail
