    Component orientation on PS4 Pro

Hi, just got done soldering of a broken HDMI port on a PS4 Pro, however while doing so I unfortunately knocked off a diode(?) on the board, I found it, however I am not sure of its orientation, and can't seem to find any pictures of it online. Can anyone help me out? Right now I just tacked it on to prevent it disappearing completely.

    Its marked "A"

looks like a gold dot indicates pin1 on the chip - find another diode and see if a gold dot is for the anode, or cathode.

I have a PS4 board here, whilst the layout is slightly different it does have a diode marked A1, there's no dot but it does have a band. I thought the band indicated it was the cathode.

Your diode wants to be the other way round.
