broken R035 resistor in a PS4 PSU

    broken R035 resistor in a PS4 PSU

    its a PSU for PS4 Slim

    spec for this resistor is: 0.035 Ohms, 3W, 1%, size 1225

    this resistor is broken and burnt. i cant find this resistor to buy locally. can i a small fuse as a replacement?

    It sounds like a current sense resistor at that size, so no you can't swap with a fuse.

          before you burn the new one, it sounds like something got shorted out to make it blow!

            the fuse was dead also. no continuity at all. i cant find anything else broken under microscope. no schematic for this psu and i dont have another know good psu. worth a shot replacing it and see if go on fire again. if cant fix then i just throw in the bin. thanks
