    Keyboard Issues!

    Hello,

I had some issues with my keyboard. The keyboard keeps writing YT8134YUV}12 instead of writing the numbers only 813412, I've no clue what to do next.

My laptop is almost new, I just purchased it online and 6 months old. I've tried to clean the keyboard as well.

What did you spill on the keyboard?
I was fixing a laptop and inside it smelled like nice hot chocolate... then I realized someone had spilled it on the keyboard, and almost made it to the HDD.
Dried it out and there are still dead keys.
I haven't tried taking out the membrane keyboard and washing it, plastic rivets everywhere. A new one on Ali is not much.

Probably some liquid got spilled on it some time ago and the effect is just happening now.

There's a possibility that the liquid got through to the SIO ,I've experienced something like this,I got a new keyboard but problem was still the same not untill I take out the motherboard and noticed the corrosion on the sio pins, I used thinner and tooth brush to wash the part, reflow it with my workstation and it start working fine.

by mistake, my coffee spilled on the keyboard. but at that time, it was working perfectly. But later on, i'm facing this issue. Tried keyboard tester here but it won't be very beneficial for me.

Seems like i've to replace the keyboard now.
