    capacitor stock for repair shop

    Hi

I have ordered a set of ceramic caps from a..express and when i measure a 10uf cap the multi meter showed 8uf, I guess those are shitty caps.

Can you recommend where to buy high quality caps and fuses
    ali is preferred if possible

The capacitance is only an approximate value. Some parts have different tolerance than others. Factors such as the quality of your meter will play a role in the final measurement.

Guessing that the parts you have are 20% tolerance.

Parts do derate based on their physical size and the actual voltage for which is used in the circuit compared to the rated voltage.

Indeed capacitors are generally 20% tolerance, and capacitance measurement in a DMM is not necessarily very accurate. However if they are very close to the 20% tolerance bounds (so very close or below 8uF), they may be "refurbished" old capacitors that have aged already. In general it's not a problem, but if you want a reliable supply of parts, don't use Aliexpress, buy from a local electronics distributor.
