lenovo G470 no power.

hello guys...

i got lenovo G470 with no power issue.

I've checked 5v and 3.3v alws coils is present.

so i flash bios i get from another tread. it works if you press recovery switch it turn on. but from power switch it could not.

i checked the switch it was good. but it has no 3.3v on his pin. not like recovery switch it has 3.3v on its pin.

actually its my 2nd time for this model that have same problem.
i just said it was switch board.

i advice the client that dont make their laptop does to sleep. cos it would not goes wake anymore because of the switch.

any idea guys..

schematic is ok.you can find d23 near socket jpwr1.

It looks to be the other way around. I think the jumper wire is taking 3v from pin 3 of D23 to the power switch.

This is a very common issue with Lenovo G470 or G570 Mb. If you look on the backside of the power switch board, you can observe track cuts. Just bridge the track and it works. No need to pull 3v from mb,its already there on the cable connected on the switch board side.

before q83 broken...am replace...still cannot switch on....so am jumper fromd24 to sw1...amazing....laptop switch on...tenkyu ...
