There is no picture to be seen unfortunately. Tried it. I made a picture from what's inside showing all LEDs / Backlight working.

It doesn`t start the update though

To get an update to a Vestel card is a procedure. In the USB stick, press and hold the OK key on the remote control, put the TV in the socket. When the stb LED flashes quickly release the OK key. Wait for the update to finish (2-3 min.).
If you do not have an image it can be the problem in the t-con.

Oh got the misunderstanding. No there is no image I can see unfortunately, tried with a super bright LED flashlight. When switching programs up and down the backlight becomes brighter and adjusts itself again back to black with less brightness.

Thought about the T-Con board though, but replaced the 17MB95M. Is there a specific T-Con Board for this model? Isn't that backlight controller with a fix connection to the LCD panel cable attached?

Can you take a picture with the back of the TV? Without cover.

                  Sure, there we go:

                  That's what's the T-Con says. innolux mv-0s94v-0E88441

T-con is part of the panel. Near the connector is a fuse. See if it's good and you have 12v (or 5v) on both ends.

                      11.3V it's showing.

So the t-con is feeding. Search now for t-con measuring points VGH, VGL and see what values you find.

2.2mV on both, assuming I have found the right one. Pretty sure to have measured VGL, not sure if VGH was the correct one though.

That's not good. VGH is positive voltage and can exceed + 20V. VGL is negative voltage and is around -6V. There is a dc-dc converter that generates these voltages. If it is burned it can be replaced. Or it may be a short in the panel. Or a short on one of the 2 rails (smd capacitor in short, diode, etc.). Measure the resistance on them against the ground.

I have belled through all available SMD parts against ground and almost all of them seem to be sound. Where can I check the DCDC converter?

What rails do you mean exactly?

                                Rails: vgh, vgl, 12v, 5v, 24v etc.
What resistance do you find on VGH?
The VGH measurement point starts from the integrated one.

VGH and VGL are both about 740 Ohm against Ground. If I bell it through VGH against VGL it seems to be connected.

Wait a second. Just checked it with a magnifier. I measured VCH instead of VGH. The only one I found on the board sort of similiar to what you said is VGHP and has a value of 48 kOhm.

                                  Just to clarify:
So, VCH and VGL are connected with each of them 740 Ohm against ground. VGHP has 48 kOhm,

This means that the integrated dc-dc converter is defective. If you can take a close up picture I'll tell you what it is. But I don't think you have the tools to replace it. The t-cone being glued to the panel does not pose the problem of its replacement.

which tools would I need, I got a hot air gun somewhere and to be honest, can't make it any worse anyway Let me take some close up pictures first.

This is the dc-dc converter that I think is faulty. After it is detached, measure between VGL and VGH. If it is shorter it means that the fault is in the panel.
