    Toshiba 20HLV16S (from August 2006!)

Picked this one up yesterday for free (DVD player is bad) and thought it might be a good size for my monitoring project as the diagonal screen size is exactly 20". Analog only but I have a Samsung tuner I can feed it with.
The screen has an overall greenish tint to it and I can't adjust it out. Faces are greenish, blue clothing looks aqua, that sort of thing. Is this likely to be a dying backlight issue? Any bad backlights I have seen in the past have faded off into a red hue, not green.

Ideas please. Caps look good upon a cursory inspection. I'd love to have this nice size screen in the center of my monitoring wall.

    Thanks

I have noticed mostly pinkish when backlights are failing, sometimes green can mean a problem with tcon, suppose being a ripe old 16, it could be a capacitor or 3 also. I think these early ones were made better, have a sharp from 2007, going strong, never a problem, used as monitor about 12 hours daily.
