    Samsung UN55ES6150F 2 blinking light x5

    I have a Samsung UN55ES6150F TV with a BN44-00503A power supply board and a BN94-05656D mainboard.

An HDMI connector on my mainboard was damaged, so I remove it and tried to solder on another one. That did not turn out too well so i decided to remove the HDMI connector completly and reinstall the mainboard.

Powered on the tv and it worked for minute or two. Then the volume died. I turned off the TV to check my connections and it would not turn back on. I would get 5 blinking lights and when i went to turn it on it would change to 2 blinking lights 5 times.

I decided to order another mainboard. Installed the new main board and when power is applied i get 2 blinking lights 5 times. When i remove the cable that connects the power supply to the mainboard the back lights turn on and the blinking light is off.

    Here are my voltages.

Either your mainboard repair damaged something connected to it, or the replacement mainboard is faulty.
Check the tcon fuse and if it has a wifi module disconnect it.

Looks like the new mainboard isn't sending the bl-on signal, where did you get it?

That PS-ON is cycling up and down so the switched B5V, B13V, and PFC Voltage is not stable. Main board is not sending steady PS-ON signal.

I disconnected the WIFI module. No difference.
Is there something I can do to confirm that I have another bad Main board?

track where the B5V voltage goes... it may be that some component along its route is "sucking" more current than "labelled" and the system shuts down... or that regulator / switch component has an issue.

Usually confirms powerbord and backlights are working right when the backlights come on when remove cable from powerbard to mainboard. Do you have steady voltages with that cable removed?

Yes, all the voltages are present and steady

Think I would send that mainboard back, can they send you another one?

Sent back mainboard for another one. Problem fixed
