Thank you so very much... I re-programmed ther Patch file on the BIOS, re-soldered the chip. But now it give 5 beeps pauses & then again 5 beeps & NO Display at all. Maybe something wrong with the Patch. Please re-try if you can. Thanks anyways

TRY WITH RIGHT INSTRUCTION FROM GIVEN BELOW

STEP 1: Flash File Given By Me t460_UNLOCKED BIOS

STEP 2: Boot the machine

STEP 3: Press ENTER/F1/esc. to enter BIOS settings

STEP 4: Enter 1234 PRESS ENTER
when asked for Password

STEP 5: Press ENTER when it shows Hardware ID

STEP 6: Press space bar 2 Time when asked 1 by 1

STEP 7: Turn off machine

STEP 8: now again open laptop and write your original BIOS file which you have post here ( t460.ZIP )

STEP 9: Reset BIOS settings to factory default

Please advise how do I flash the file given by youin STEP 1? Is there a guide here, or can I simply use a USB flash disk with Freedos and a flash program like Winflash or something?

I just don't know how to flash this patched bios file now. I've been searching the internet including this website for many hours since yesterday. I must be missing something very simple?
