microSD card issue with Tab S

Purchased used Samsung Tab S but often microSD card is not recognized by Tablet/OS.
I need to reboot tablet and then everything works okay.
    Very annoying.
What could cause such issue ?

The card socket contacts are probably worn out. The connector may need to be replaced.

I think the following is the replacement for this part:

    https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3283...43660554%22%7D

Best to confirm the details before ordering.

According to the datasheet for this tablet, any speed of the sd card should work. Maybe the working as card is a faster speed grade and allows the tablet to boot normally.

In the past, there have been chats about fakes on Amazon, etc. for such SD cards. Be sure to test with a known good source. Great if this solution is working and remains stable.

You may want to consider using compressed air to blow out any possible dust bunnies inside the SD card connector and contacts.

R u sure that it should support 128 GB cards out of the box?
Could it be somehow OS/software related?
                It's running Lolipop OS.

No clue. You can confirm with Samsung or review their documents.

Are you finding that the fault is with the 128 GB cards ?

See attached. This is from the Samsung website. Do you have one of these models ?

I'm not sure, will check tomorrow but I think 128gb model is formatted with different system.
                      Could that cause such issues?
