in a pcb circuit drive a fluerescent lamp
there is a component that writes 5n6j 1200volt ahas green color
on the place writes c4 thats mean is capacitor and there is shunt whith multimeter
i test the lamp without this but again it doesnt light
can you tell me what value is this component ;

It is likely a 5.6 nf, = 0.0056µf 1200v Mylar capacitor, does it look similar to this

probably preheater cap, should use cap of similar characteristics imho, though not completely critical. These caps should be cheap.
