    ceramic disk labeled 102k equals?

i have this small size ceramic disk with 102k marking on it .
what is the value of it ?
    in mfd?
    in nfd?
those are the values that my meter read (fluke 79 series2 multimeter)
    thanks in advance

    1000pF, I think.
    It's 10pF * 10^2 or 10pF * 100.

Yes, that is 1000pF or 0.001uF.
This type is marking is in pF.
      102: 1,000pF = 0.001uF
      103: 10,000pF = 0.01uF
      104: 100,000pF = 0.1uF
      105: 1,000,000pF = 1.0uf

See the pattern in the numbering?

What tom and bud posted, plus "K" in this context means a +/-10% tolerance (not counting the temperature and voltage coefficients of the ceramic dielectric, which may be far worse than the 10% initial tolerance).

Stupid question, but have you verified that it supports resolutions higher than 1024x768?

Some monitors turn off rather than displaying an "over range" message.

                PS5 Disk Tray issues.
                by welp
I have a PlayStation 5 CH-1215A with a Disk drive not reading disks anymore. (accepting and ejecting very slowly.)
Knowing the PS5 has a married daughter board for the disk drive I made sure to use that and replace the rest of the disk tray as it* was owned previously by an indoor smoker.
Once the job was complete and put back everything together, I tried to insert a disk with no luck at all...
So, I checked voltage going from the ps5 to the daughter board and am only getting the 5V rail.
With that knowledge I preceded to check all the fuses for the 12v rail on the main...

ASUS ROG STRIX B550-I GAMING - M.2_2 port not working correctly with SAMSUNG SSD980 1TB NVME SSD
                by DynaxSC
                Hi,

I have an really very weired issue with ASUS ROG STRIX B550-I GAMING.

Some NVME (PCIe) SSD's are not working correctly in the second M.2 socket. An example of it is the SAMSUNG SSD980 1TB NVME SSD.
Some other NVME (I have only smaller ones) disk do work without any problem, also SAMSUNG disks, eg an MZVPV128HDGM-0000.

The behaviour is also really very strange, i.e.:
                • The disk shows always up in BIOS - so it is recognized, so far so good
                • POST-ing with this disk with fresh Windows 24H2 installation (done in the M.2_1 socket) in the M.2_2 socket
                ...

Today recieved hp model 17-f100nx laptop with no power.(motherboard=DAY11AMB6E0) after that repaired +1.05v section due to faulty buck converter.after that power issue fixed and laptop turns on.But "no bootable 3f0 error displayed".so then

i checked the connectivity of ribbon=good communication with hard and motherboard

changed hard disk and checked=3f0 error persist

                sata power=+5v available

                Then checked data capacitors=all good

Then checked data lines path connectivity to pch=all good

                reflashed...

LG GCC-4521B cannot read any disk
                by chth96
I bought 6 second hands odd $5 at a flea market and I found that 2 odd(GCC-4521B,TS-H192) won't read any disk.
But I measured all ESR value of SMD capacitor which is located on the TS-H192's PCB and replaced two capacitor which has higher ESR value.
And To My joy, this TS-H192 odd finally recognized burned CD as well as pressed CD.😂
But there was no more good fortune for GCC-4521B..In order to dead GCC-4521B back to life, I replaced three capacitor which has higher ESR value and I rubbed silicon grease on the every glides.I even brushed lens with cotton swab which was soaked...

                Apple Macbook A1707 Hard disk
                by Eleways
                Hi

I've an Apple macbook A1707 with Hdd defect.

This product don't work with a normal Hard disk, but the hard disk it's a BGA component on the logic board.

                My question is:
Can i exchange the hard disk, by desolder the bga Hard disk and replacing this?

Can i replace with a different one (es 500 gb instead of 250 gb)

This Macbook has T1 security check.

                Thanks and best regards

                Luca
