    I finally manage to disassemble the mixer.


    All pots have 1,8cm shaft measuring only plastic part. From metal part of pot to top of shaft is 2,3cm

    Here are mark of all pots inside mixer:

    For headphones - B503DC (6 pin)
    For FX With central pin - B503x (3 pin)
    For Balance With central pin - AC103w (6 pin)
    For low, mid and highs With central pin - B503w (6 pin)


    If someone can help me to pick some high quality pots to replace them with this behriger garbage ones. Thanks

          For headphones= Search Google for "B503 linear 50k ohm vertical no detent dual 6 pin pot“

          For FX= Search for "B503 linear 50k ohm vertical center detent 3 pin pot"

          For low, mid & high EQ= Search for "B503 linear 50k ohm vertical center detent dual 6 pin pot"

          For balance (pan?) = Search for "AC taper 10k ohm vertical center detent dual 6 pin blend pot"

          AC taper blend pots can be difficult to find but don't often need replaced.

          There's no way I have time to search for where you can get the cheapest parts, you will have to do that yourself... I have provided what to search for.

          Pots made by Bourns, Alps, Alpha (Taiwan)... are the kind of product you are looking for.

          If you are unsure about what you find then post the links where you want to buy and I or others will confirm if suitable.

            Ok, I'll try to find them in few days and post links for you to confirm if I pick right ones, thanks!

            Can you tell me just am I searching for shaft 18mm or 23mm ? How is it measure from metal part or just plastic thing ?

              If I want to change caps on motherboard of mixer, do I need to put low esr caps or normal caps ?

                Use the same replacement pot as low, mid, high EQ.

                Easiest way to replace caps in behringer power supply is to use 105c (temperature) low esr for all replacements.

                IMO your doing a lot of unnecessary work... What is actually wrong with the desk?

                    Caps on PSU were already replaced a year ago. There were 3 bad caps, and I replace them all with stronger ones few Volts more than it was by factory. I was talking about motherboard where pots are, when I am going to replace pots I would like to replace that caps also and for them I was asking if they are low esr or normal caps.


                    I noticed there are two kind of 3B503x (both for FX/AUX and both with central pin.)

                      Caps on the main pcb should not need replaced.

                      OK photos confirm all pots are mounted vertically so what I advised in reply #27 is correct.

                      I'm taking it when you say "central pin" you mean you feel a little click when the pot shaft is in the middle of the range of travel? e.g. Half way between fully CCW & fully CW?

                        Now I see, stupid me. The difference is one is 6 pin, one is 3 pin, that's why they're different.

                        Yes central pin when you move pot in the center there is click or stop however you want to call it.

                          Yes the only difference is the amount of pins, these pot serial numbers are just behringer part numbers ... e.g. for the 3B503x the "3" and the "x" are likely just added as part identifiers for behringer, the important details are:

                          the B = linear taper

                          the 503 code = (which means 50 followed by three zero's) = 50,000 ohms or 50k ohm

                          ... then you also do a visual & manual check to find:

                          the pot mounting orientation = vertical

                          the number of pins = either 3 or 6

                          the length of shaft & size of body

                          & finally ... whether the pot has a tactile center detent or not

                          ....
