Okay. I have found the time to solder a 3.5mm jack because the old one was defective. I soldered it. I'm not sure what I was doing. I notice when the ground wire touches a red or white wire, then that perspective side does not work. So I connected both the red and white wires to touch and the ground is "grounded" from the red and white wires. My sound system is working. However, when I plug my center speaker in, it does not work. Is this because I need a sound card with dolby digital sound? Wouldn't my 3.5 mm jack plugged into my phone be able to let the center speaker go? Did I wire it wrong or something? There is a black plug (phone jack) green plug, orange plug, and pink plug. I did some troubleshooting and the orange plug when connected to the phone worked with the center speaker.
This is what the control center looks like (before I soldered)

Note: My sound system is working perfectly right now. the rear left adn right speakers are working ever since I touched the white and red wires together (do I do this?)
