HP 2009M broken lamp wire
Looks great but cheaply made, took awhile to fix the wire.Never stop learning

Very good disassembly pictures!
This has proved to a very common fault on that style of HP from the 19”-23”models.
There will be times when you inspect the wiring you will NOT notice a fault, however if you strip about an inch of wire back on the return wire of the CCFL that's giving you problems you will find the wiring turned to powder.Whatever I do, I consider it a success, if in the end I am breathing, seeing, feeling and hearing!

First thing I did once I can I get access to the end of the lamp assemblies is to gently tug on the wire, this one just came right out very easily and there was no sign of heating or burnt at all, but I did notice that they did not provide any slack on the wires at all.Never stop learning
