Hello friends,
A yellow light was flashing on my monitor. It was like it was constantly cutting power. When I opened it up, I saw that the big capacitor in the high voltage line was leaking. I replaced it. When I turned it on for the first time, it had the same problem again. But then, interestingly, it got better. The yellow light was on steady. But the monitor wouldn't turn on. When I examined them with a thermal camera, I saw that the Fli5961-LF reached 50 degrees Celsius and the EM636165TS next to it reached 100 degrees Celsius and was drawing high current on the motherboard. I turned it off immediately. When I removed the Fli5961-LF, the high current and heat issues were resolved. The EM636165TS no longer got hot.
Can we be sure that the Fli5961-LF is broken in this case? Will it be fixed if I buy one and replace it?
