    Gigabyte GTX 1080 G1 Gaming - No Fan, No Signal, No shortcuts

    Good morning,

    This is the first time I've tried to save a motherboard, hoping to find the cause of this graphics card's failure and perhaps save it.

    Mounted in PCI-E x1 with an x8 pin power supply: No fans, no LEDs, no video signal.

    Apart from an x8 pin power supply, here is what I get as a measurement:

    I don't think I have a short circuit. I checked the continuity of the resistors, it seems good.

    Do you have an idea or avenue to explore? Please note, my skill level is relatively low but I am fully equipped except oscilloscope and bga reballing.

    You can check if the 5V IC has the enable pin activated.

      5v was too low. Try to check enable voltage on 5v ic regulator.
