    AORUS GTX 1080 ti 11gb no signal video

    Hello
    I'm currently bugging the diagnostic of a GTX 1080ti 11gb
    I bought it in good condition for repair
    following a visual inspection under the microscope I noticed a shock at the level of the SLI and several HS tracks which are being repaired
    here is the beast:

    I think this shock caused some more damage and I will need a little helping hand in the future as I cannot get my hands on the GIGABYTE GV-108 11gb boardview schematics.
    I did a tension check and here is what emerges

    I have all the Magic R22 coils and Vcore capacitors short circuit a (upstream and downstream test of the component against ground).

    Then passage of thermographic camera and here is what emerges, the GPU is necessarily cold and a component seems HS at more than 50 degrees celcius seems linked to the breakage on the SLI side

    and indeed it is short circuit to the mass. But I have a problem.
    I think this component is an A7 switching diode but I have a big doubt about the reference and the characteristics because I am not an electronic technician.
    Could you first confirm or not my readings and what I should have in theory help me identify this component?

    Lift one side of all the coils and write back the resistance on VRAM and Vcore.
    check mosfets and see what type you have.
    You must identify where the gate comes to the mosfet. Usually its UGATE and LGATE.
    If moasfet has 12v then you have a problem where the gate comes from.
    I suspect they are DrMOS. sometimes a DrMOS can short the whole trace to ground. that will be hard but doable.
    Just cook it! It's already broken.

      thank you for the advice I will measure its, but before I must resolder the cut tracks first and especially identify the HS component to put the good in place because it is dead it is short. then I would do a general check Vcore and Vram to see if a mosfet is dead

        i have no documentation but if you fix the problem before then you can take that out and see what voltage comes there and from, where does it go, to what component and what values it needs to have.
        You know it comes there with 12v and it goes to and ic with 3.3v because the specs on that ic on that pin says MAX 3.3v.

        You try to find what it needs to do from where it comes from and where it needs to go.
        i`m similar stage but i need a soft wire brush in order to identify pins. Pass over the PCB to find with continuity. Anyone knows where to find?

          As for a soft metal brush, the NorthridgeFix youtuber offers electronic equipment that can be found by yourself everywhere and I believe that it has adapted for this use
          otherwise a scalpel in the shape of a thin hook at the end allows the mask to be scratched slightly in order to take measurements
