Sango J1900 - POS - corrupted bios but unable to find dump

    Hi all!

    long shot but lets see

POS device, with a what I suspect a corrupted bios.
All power rails are up and running, but not POST.
On Sango site cant find any bios file.
Contacted them by mail and asked for it, but not sure they will even reply

    Model: Sango J1900
    Board: SANGO-MB-J1900
    SN:RC18110135

Would someone be able to take a look at this backup dump and check if something can be done ?
    Thanks for any help
    Apreciate it
    Cheers

Your backup is only 64.9KB its corrupted.Make a few more backups and check if they are the same. Are you using a clip or have you desoldered the chip.

      Hey SMDFlea!

      Thanks for the reply.

Yeah I also found it weird, but I desoldered the chip, its well detected in the tool and read it 5 times, all files are the same.
Backup is 4MB but compressed its only 64kb. Its indeed the content I have on the bios chip

Dont Think something can be done, cant find any dump for this POS system

        Hi again,

The SANJO support sent me the last bios for this system.

I can see a 8MB file inside, but in bios programmer I get warning some data out of memory size.

I leave the file here attached

Anyone that could take a look at this?

Ive flashed the 8 Mb D96M-025.bin file , that has some data out of memory size, and machine does not even react to power button,

Flashed back the original backup posted earlier, the 64.9 kb zipped one, and machine turns on and no POST.

Anyone that could take a look at this?
          thanks
