hi i have a lenovo m70q thinkcentre type 11E8 which is in chromium os i would like to change it in windows. Has anyone has dumpfile or backup file for bios for windows. in support web of lenovo m70q can be in windows os. hope someone can help me this one really needed badly thanks and more power most i downloaded on the web bios is in chromium os no lock at all i found here that m70q 11dt is not working for 11e8.

One of the other chrome to windows threads mentioned flashing the EC besides the bios i think.Can`t find that thread though,so i`m not sure.

I have a Lenovo ThinkCentre M70q with chrome os amazon, but I'm unable to get it to boot Windows. I've tried programming BIOS backups from previous posts, but the system just turns on and off repeatedly. Here are the specific details:

Model: Lenovo ThinkCentre M70q 11E8 - iq4xoil1

BIOS Chip Details:

Could someone please assist me in resolving this issue? I have the BIN file available. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

were facing the same problem i also have here does not boot and on and off repeatedly. you can try my file ill try yours hope yours will work. if this work i will update the bios using support and try to backup it ill post it here for help..

if your chip is erase write protected you need to replace both a new one.

i need a 2mb bios for windows of this machine possible that the bios chi for 8 and 16 won't work because of the chip on ec 2mb it still on android version hope some can share for windows version
