Hi everybody,
I have the same problem with admin password and I need the bios for OptiPlex 3000 with tag number : 79X1SN3
I don't know if you need the complete tag number that is also 79X1SN3-8FC8
The second Bios chip is MX77L25650F.
Could you please tell me with which programmer can I program the chip?
Best regards.
It's good, problem solved with drefo, just clear VSS2 on big chip
For clarity, did you clear the entire VSS2 body or a specific section. I've attempted to do the same by clearing the entire body but the password lock remained. Thank you.
I was hoping to learn and solve this bios admin password lock myself, but I believe it may be better to ask for help. Clearing VSS2 on the 32mb chip did not work. Service tag is 7S6CYS3.
