on the chargeboard on this model there is a diode behind the power connector, does anyone know of a replacement? how do you tell which diode can replace certain ones or are most diodes of the same size the same rating.

if you dont have access to the schematic how do you know the rating of a diode.does it go by voltage,amps or other?
