Looks like a small tantalum capacitor.

Did one of these burn up on your MB?

yes, one of them is burned, the other is apparently well.

      the meter reading is:

      3.5 ohms on both sides
      3 nf

I can replace it with a standard capacitor?
      any ideas?

      best regards

Could we possibly get a close up photo? I'm not sure whether if it is a diode or a capacitor.

He can indetify the good component with multimeter and he will know if it's a D or C.

            Thats true!

I'm not familiar with the markings on it, so I might have to do some research.

I've seen some sites on SMD markings, but i have to look for them
