acer aspire 5570 display problem

The display comes on external monitor but not comes on lcd of laptop.i also checked light but it also not comeing on

have you shone a torch into screen to see any image
it may be smd fuse on the inverter, faulty inverter, also may be faulty ccfl in screen,or faulty screen,
check to see if there is a smd fuse to screen, check inverter connectors
those are the easy ones to check first

To test the inverter put your DMM into the Herts position next place the probes about 5mm apart from each other, then as close as possible (but not touching) put them to the output or around the inverter and see if there any reading. If there's reading then ccfl backlight is bad. If no reading check voltage coming into the inverter. You can do this simple test without removing the front lcd bezel.

today an acer 5510 came to me it has the same problem, i'll work on it tomorrow if i find a solution i will write it here.

If it were the GPU, there would be no display at all, be it external or your laptop screen.

As i know inside the GPU there are different parts wich command external Display and also command it own display. if the own display part is harm, so reballing should help .

today an acer 5510 came to me it has the same problem, i'll work on it tomorrow if i find a solution i will write it here.

i changed the lcd inverter and the problem solved, you should try..
