HP G62-A70sv white picture on lcd

Hello everybody,
I need your help on this one. It powers on for a while and the picture on the lcd is white. On hdmi output I don't have picture. After nearly 20 secs it shuts down. I have changed both vga + a smaller ati chipset (not the southbridge). Any advice on this?

there are 2 cases with white screen:
1.bad screen or cable( change the screen with a smash one and see if its the same)
2. video card problem( i try yesterday to reflow a acer with black screen and after it give me a white screen ; no signal on external)

Thanks for your replies. Yes I have already tried its panel to another device and it works.
I have already changed the vga with new one.

you change the gpu chipset?
and still white screen?

Yes! It has exactly the same behavior. The strange thing is that it turns off after ~20secs. I don't have much experience on hp's laptops. On a vaio white picture problem was from the gpu.

shutdown in bios? safe mode? or normal boot?

I guess during post. Powers on, waits for a few secs then white screen and finally shuts down.

I would be checking voltage lines. If the VGA and chipset have been changed I doubt it's a BGA fault.

he change only the vga chip;
maybe a reflow on the chipset will do the trick

Happy new year to everybody and thanks a lot for your answers! I have changed the chipset also and have done a fast reflow on the southbridge chipset. Is there for any chance for somebody to have the service manual for this? I searched but found only with intel's chipset.
